Prismari Spell Slinger by Dashirl

Format: Commander

Commander: Prismari, the Inspiration

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Izzet spellslinger deck uses Prismari, the Inspiration to give every instant and sorcery storm and wins by stacking damage from cast and copy triggers. Payoffs like Guttersnipe, Coruscation Mage, Firespitter Whelp, Caldera Pyremaw and Manaform Hellkite deal damage on each cast, doubled by Veyran, Voice of Duality. Thousand-Year Storm and Ral, Crackling Wit provide backup storm engines, while Grapeshot and Storm of Memories close games with high storm counts. Niv-Mizzet, Parun and Niv-Mizzet, Visionary turn the deck's heavy draw into extra damage. With twelve counterspells and cheap removal, the deck controls the board until it can assemble two to three payoffs and take one explosive storm turn.
