Deck overview

This mono-blue deck is commanded by Orvar, the All-Form, converting cheap instant and sorcery targeting spells into powerful permanent duplication engines. The deck plays as a combo-control strategy, using 1-mana cantrips such as Thermal Flux and Twisted Image to duplicate lands and utility creatures for rapid mana ramp and card advantage. High-value ETB creatures like Mulldrifter, Cloud of Faeries, and Archmage Emeritus quickly pull the pilot ahead in resources. The primary win condition is an infinite flicker loop using Ghostly Flicker, Shipwreck Dowser, and Peregrine Drake. This loop generates infinite mana, draws the library, and repeatedly flickers Venser, Shaper Savant to bounce all opposing permanents to hand, locking opponents out of the game completely. Supporting counterspells and protection spells like Magic Damper and Lazotep Plating keep key permanents safe during assembly.
