Deck overview

This Atraxa, Praetors' Voice deck is a focused midrange poison strategy designed to defeat all three opponents through toxic, infect, and relentless proliferation. The game plan opens with cheap, evasive poison enablers such as Blighted Agent, Venerated Rotpriest, and Prologue to Phyresis to place initial poison counters on each player. Once opponents are infected, the deck transitions into a mid-game engine state by casting Atraxa alongside counter doublers like Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus and Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider. Rather than needing to deal 40 regular combat damage per player, the deck steadily proliferates counters to 10. While the mana base is constrained by tap-lands and light acceleration, strong functional redundancy and robust personal protection from cards like Shalai, Voice of Plenty and Lightning Greaves allow the deck to maintain steady pressure and close games around Turn 8.
