Anti-Venom, Horrifying Healer by HoleyCrusader

Format: Commander

Commander: Anti-Venom, Horrifying Healer

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a Mono-White Voltron and "Damage Redirection" strategy featuring Anti-Venom, Horrifying Healer. The primary game plan is to exploit Anti-Venom s unique ability to convert incoming damage into +1/+1 counters. By utilizing "en-Kor" creatures like Nomads en-Kor and redirection effects like Pariah or Martyrdom, the deck funnels all damage dealt to the player or other creatures directly into Anti-Venom, growing him to lethal proportions instantly. The deck functions as a resilient mid-range threat that punishes opponents for attacking while leveraging a suite of Equipment and Auras to provide evasion and protection. Secondary win conditions involve the Guilty Conscience infinite loop, which creates an arbitrarily large Anti-Venom and infinite damage triggers. The commander also serves as a powerful recursion engine, ensuring that key synergy pieces can be recovered from the graveyard upon casting.
