Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Bad Gifts attrition deck led by Blim, Comedic Genius. The game plan centers on casting detrimental permanents—such as Steel Golem, Demonic Pact, Immortal Coil, and Aggressive Mining—and giving them to opponents through Blim's combat damage trigger. Once an opponent controls permanents they do not own, Blim inflicts punishing life loss and forced discard every time he connects. Support cards like Whispersilk Cloak and Prowler's Helm ensure Blim attacks safely, while secondary donation tools like Bazaar Trader and Harmless Offering provide redundancy. Goad effects from Kardur, Doomscourge and Disrupt Decorum force opponents to fight each other, accelerating life totals downward while keeping attacks away from you. The deck wins by systematically locking down opponents with toxic gifts, stripping their hands, and finishing them off with lethal upkeep triggers or unblockable commander damage.
