Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Vampire tribal deck centered around creature combat, life drain, and card advantage through Evelyn, the Covetous. The game plan curves low-drop Vampires and Blood token generators into midgame tribal payoffs such as Sanctum Seeker, Stromkirk Captain, and Strefan, Maurer Progenitor. Once Evelyn enters the battlefield, every Vampire trigger exiles cards from all players' libraries, generating steady card advantage while your creature swarm chips down life totals. Combat damage is amplified through lords, +1/+1 counter distribution from Drana, Liberator of Malakir, and group-drain triggers from Epicure of Blood and Marauding Blight-Priest. The deck finishes games by overwhelming opponents through sustained combat and unblockable drain triggers around Turn 9. While it features strong creature redundancy and steady card flow from Blood tokens and exile casting, it relies on natural draws without tutors and remains vulnerable to well-timed board wipes.
