Tuya Bearclaw - EDH by user8105734

Format: Commander

Commander: Tuya Bearclaw

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Gruul power-matter combat deck built around Tuya Bearclaw, who grows each time she attacks based on the greatest power among your other creatures. The primary plan is to deploy a massive threat early-like Yorvo, Lord of Garenbrig, Ghalta, Primal Hunger, or Jumbo Cactuar-then cast Tuya and use trample, double strike, and extra combat steps to one-shot opponents with commander damage. The deck leans heavily on combat tricks (Temur Battle Rage, Overwhelming Stampede), mana from attack triggers (Savage Ventmaw), and repeatable card draw tied to high power (Garruk's Uprising, Beast Whisperer). It has no infinite combos, relying instead on overwhelming combat inevitability and a dense suite of protection to push through.
