Grosse Berta by user7989976

Format: Commander

Commander: Berta, Wise Extrapolator

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Berta, Wise Extrapolator is a Simic +1/+1 counter engine that turns every spell cast into extra mana and every proliferate into a mana boost. The deck's primary plan is to ramp into Berta, use Increment and proliferate effects to grow her and generate colored mana, then convert that mana into a huge Fractal token via her tap ability or Body of Research. Counter-doublers (Vorel, Deepglow Skate, Biogenic Upgrade) and trample/unblockable outlets push that token to lethal. Secondary paths include evasive proliferate creatures grinding out card advantage. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built around Berta's mana and token production.
