Deck overview

This deck is an Esper aggro-tempo strategy piloted by Alela, Artful Provocateur. The primary objective is to cast low-cost artifacts and enchantments to create an evasive army of flying Faerie tokens, amplify their power with static anthems, and overwhelm opponents in the air. Mana acceleration on Turn 2 enables Alela on Turn 3 or 4, after which every utility artifact, enchantment, and Aura generates evasive board presence. Anthems such as Intangible Virtue, Empyrean Eagle, and Glen Elendra Liege convert 1/1 tokens into lethal attackers, while explosive finishers like Notorious Throng and Shadow Puppeteers rapidly accelerate the clock. The deck supplements its aggressive game plan with card draw engines like Idol of Oblivion, tempo disruption via Authority of the Consuls, and versatile answers like Cyclonic Rift and Path to Exile, closing out games around Turn 8.
