Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari Squirrel kindred strategy led by Camellia, the Seedmiser. Its game plan focuses on generating Squirrel and Food tokens, converting Foods into board-wide menace pressure through Camellia's forage ability. Acceleration from early dorks and signets sets up a turn 3 commander deployment, followed by steady token expansion via Deep Forest Hermit, Bakersbane Duo, and The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl. Because the deck operates primarily through combat damage and token anthems, it reaches critical offensive pressure around turn 6 and aims to close the game across turns 7 and 8 with multipliers like Unnatural Growth and Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus. While the deck features strong internal creature synergy and evasion through natural menace, it operates with minimal card draw velocity, no nonland tutors, and very few reactive answers or sweeper protection spells, making it vulnerable to timely board wipes.
