Deck overview

The deck uses Satya, Aetherflux Genius to copy creatures with useful enters-the-battlefield effects and to turn energy into temporary or retained token copies. The best ordinary line deploys a large target such as Aethertide Whale, casts Satya, and attacks immediately. The copy creates a 6/4 flier and six energy, which can pay its retention cost. Artifact creatures and token makers from Sai, Master Thopterist, Saheeli, Sublime Artificer, Whirler Rogue, and Pia and Kiran Nalaar provide supporting value. The deck has a reasonable land base, several mana rocks, card-draw engines, sweepers, and a few counters. Its main limits are slow assembly, weak tutoring, expensive spells, and the absence of a compact table-kill route. It can establish a threatening flying board around turn 8, but that pressure is not reliably lethal and does not become a total lockout.
