Vampire v3 by user8084527

Format: Commander

Commander: Ayara, First of Locthwain

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a mono-black aristocrats drain deck helmed by Ayara, First of Locthwain. The core plan is to flood the board with cheap black creatures and zombie tokens, then convert every ETB and death into life loss through a dense suite of Blood Artist-style drain effects. Ayara herself doubles as both a drain trigger and a repeatable draw engine, letting the deck churn through its library while grinding opponents down. Token generators like Open the Graves, Endless Ranks of the Dead, and Grave Titan provide the sacrifice fodder, while Viscera Seer and Carrion Feeder turn that fodder into drain triggers and card advantage. The deck wins incrementally - there are no infinite combos - relying on Wound Reflection to double a big drain turn, Syr Konrad, the Grim for incidental mill damage, and a wide zombie beatdown as a backup. It is a grindy, value-heavy strategy that outlasts opponents through life-total advantage.
