Deck overview

Fire Lord Azula leads a Grixis spell-combo shell whose main plan is to assemble Demonic Consultation and Thassa's Oracle. The deck uses broad tutors such as Demonic Tutor, Gamble, Vampiric Tutor, and Wishclaw Talisman, while Mystical Tutor and Waterlogged Teachings mainly find the Consultation half. Acceleration from Lotus Petal, Sol Ring, rituals, mana rocks, and cost reduction helps produce the required {U}{U}{B}. Once Demonic Consultation removes the library, Thassa's Oracle wins on its entrance trigger. Fire Lord Azula is not required for this primary line, but attacking with it copies instant and sorcery spells and can create explosive secondary turns. The deck also has a Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame token loop, although that route needs an initial creature and normally waits for a combat step. Interaction is strongest on the stack, while proactive denial, permanent removal, and recovery after disruption are less robust.
