Deck overview

This deck is a non-green (WUBR) big-mana and polymorph strategy helmed by Nissa, Leyline Tamer. The deck capitalizes on Nissa's potent landfall ability: whenever a land enters the battlefield, you draw a card, and the first time it triggers each turn, you reveal cards from the top of your library until you hit a creature and put it onto the battlefield for free. To maximize this ability, the deck runs a minimal count of small utility creatures and packs a devastating suite of high-cost game-enders including Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, Archfiend of Despair, Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, and Valgavoth, Terror Eater. Supported by efficient mana rocks, robust token generators to feed alternative polymorph cards like Mass Polymorph and Synthetic Destiny, and premium protection spells like Teferi's Protection, the deck rapidly pivots from mana development on Turns 1–4 to overwhelming the board with lethal threats starting Turn 5.
