New Untitled Deck by Daye019

Format: Commander

Commander: Haakon, Stromgald Scourge

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This mono-black combo deck is built around Haakon, Stromgald Scourge, exploiting his ability to cast Knight spells directly from the graveyard. Because Haakon cannot be cast from the command zone, the deck employs specialized transit cards like Command Beacon and Netherborn Altar alongside discard outlets and entomb effects like Buried Alive to position him in the graveyard. Once Haakon is resolved, the deck achieves victory through infinite sacrifice and cast loops using Phyrexian Altar and low-cost Knights paired with drain payoffs like Bontu's Monument, Ayara, or Syr Konrad. Compact secondary wins like Morality Shift into Mortal Combat and Bolas's Citadel provide alternative avenues to close the game.
