Deck overview

This mono-blue midrange deck is built around Taigam, Master Opportunist and the Flurry mechanic. The primary objective is to cast a cheap initial spell each turn followed by a high-value second spell, allowing Taigam to copy the second spell immediately and exile the original with suspend for delayed re-casting. The list blends spellslinger triggers with a legendary equipment subtheme, including Blackblade Reforged, Andúril, Flame of the West, and Helm of the Host. Because the deck operates on 31 lands with limited early ramp and minimal tutoring, it navigates the early game by developing utility creatures and equipment before casting big spells like Rite of Replication or Omniscience. Opponents are typically pressured and eliminated through wide token boards and commander-damage attacks over multiple combat turns.
