Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Pirate and Vehicle midrange strategy commanded by Edward Kenway, designed to convert combat attacks and vehicle crewing into an overwhelming stockpile of Treasure tokens. In the early game, low-cost Pirates, Assassins, and Vehicles establish board presence, enabling Edward Kenway to trigger on your end step immediately upon deployment. As the Treasure cache expands, the deck transitions from incremental value and theft into lethal finishers. Key win conditions include animating all accumulated Treasures into 4/4 flying constructs with Cyberdrive Awakener, weaponizing artifact sacrifices with Marionette Master, Mirkwood Bats, or Nadier's Nightblade, and channeling massive mana reserves into Cut // Ribbons. Additionally, the deck contains an infinite combat combo between Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator and Glint-Horn Buccaneer. Resilient alternate engines through Goldspan Dragon, Magda, Brazen Outlaw, and Shimmer Dragon maintain momentum even if the commander is removed.
