Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis combat spellslinger strategy led by Fire Lord Azula. It combines combat steps with spell duplication. When Azula attacks, she generates two red mana via firebending and copies every spell cast while attacking. Flash enablers like Leyline of Anticipation, Vedalken Orrery, and Valley Floodcaller allow permanent and sorcery spells to be cast and copied during combat. The deck leverages magecraft and prowess triggers from cards like Ashling, Flame Dancer, Archmage Emeritus, Guttersnipe, and Bria, Riptide Rogue to burn opponents and push commander damage. Free defensive spells like Deflecting Swat and Fierce Guardianship protect key turns, while Cyclonic Rift and Blasphemous Act reset opposing boards before closing the game with storm spells like Tendrils of Agony and Grapeshot.
