Deck overview

This is an Izzet spellslinger token deck helmed by Rootha, Mastering the Moment, which creates a scaling X/X Elemental token at the start of combat whenever you've cast an instant or sorcery that turn. The deck floods the board with token-makers like Young Pyromancer, Third Path Iconoclast, and Manaform Hellkite, then leverages synergies such as Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer to turn all tokens into copies of the biggest one, Redoubled Stormsinger to multiply attacking tokens, and Thousand-Year Storm or Zaffai and the Tempests to copy spells for explosive turns. Primary wins come from overwhelming combat damage with a wide board of hasty elementals, augmented by burn from Aria of Flame and Zaffai, Thunder Conductor. The deck lacks deterministic infinite combos and relies on incremental value and spell copying to close out games.
