Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Equipment and modified-creature strategy led by Arna Kennerüd, Skycaptain. The game plan revolves around deploying cheap Equipment and counter enablers in the early turns, casting Arna on Turn 4 or 5, and attacking to trigger exponential duplication of all attached nontoken permanents and counters. High-impact Equipment such as Nettlecyst, Batterskull, and Sword of Feast and Famine rapidly scale out of control when duplicated each combat phase, generating both overwhelming physical power and continuous board presence. The list backs up this aggressive engine with strong defensive tools, including free commander protection spells like Flawless Maneuver and proactive silence from Grand Abolisher. While susceptible to heavy artifact sweepers or repeated commander removal, the deck's Equipment tutors, redundant equip cost-reducers, and capable secondary threats like Ishai, Ojutai Dragonspeaker and Heavenly Blademaster ensure it can rebuild and close out multiplayer games efficiently.
