Deck overview

Nahiri, Forged in Fury leads an aggressive Boros Equipment strategy focused on cost-cheating, rapid tutoring, and explosive combat steps. The deck spends the opening turns casting low-cost Equipment and utility creatures to reduce Nahiri's casting cost via affinity. Once Nahiri enters on Turn 4, every attack by an equipped creature exiles cards from the library and casts revealed Equipment for free, rapidly expanding the board state without consuming mana. The deck features abundant tutoring to find key powerhouses like Colossus Hammer, Kaldra Compleat, and Sunforger, alongside equip-cost cheaters like Sigarda's Aid, Puresteel Paladin, and Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist. Lethal pressure arrives on Turn 5 through massive double-striking attacks or the infinite combat combo of Aurelia, the Warleader and Helm of the Host. Robust defensive options such as Teferi's Protection, Boros Charm, and Deflecting Swat ensure the aggressive core survives opposing removal.
