Deck overview

This Sultai deck is an aristocrats combo deck centered on graveyard recursion and sacrifice loops. While Teval, the Balanced Scale offers valuable mid-game board presence, self-mill, and land ramp from the command zone, the deck's primary route to victory operates independently through redundant creature engines. Its main win condition pairs Gravecrawler with a mana-producing sacrifice outlet, specifically Warren Soultrader or Phyrexian Altar, alongside a death trigger payoff such as Blood Artist, Blasting Station, or Altar of the Brood. Backed by cheap green mana ramp and an extensive suite of tutors like Buried Alive and Entomb, the deck consistently sets up its winning loop by Turn 4. A lean package of free and cheap countermagic, combined with cards like Veil of Summer and Sylvan Safekeeper, protects the critical combo turn against opposing interaction.
