Deck overview

This five-color Commander deck is built around Tiamat and high-impact Dragon tribal synergies. The game plan focuses on early-game mana acceleration and color fixing through green ramp sorceries, multi-color dorks, and tribal cost reducers such as Urza's Incubator. On Turn 5, casting Tiamat searches five specialized Dragons to hand, setting up explosive plays. The deck turns the corner on Turn 6 by deploying powerhouse engines like Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Terror of the Peaks, and Scourge of Valkas, turning every subsequent creature entry into massive direct burn and token duplication. With haste enablers like Dragon Tempest and Temur Ascendancy alongside Atarka, World Render, the deck rapidly closes games through combined noncombat damage and double-striking aerial combat. While vulnerable to well-timed sweepers and heavy main-phase mana commitments, the sheer card advantage of Tiamat provides strong resilience against single-target removal.
