Deck overview

This Azorius deck focuses on aggressive, evasive combat powered by Bird typal synergies. Led by Kastral, the Windcrested, the strategy curves out with low-cost flying creatures that establish early board presence and trigger repeatable value engines. Once Kastral enters on Turn 4, connecting in combat provides flexible modular triggers: drawing cards, growing the entire flock with +1/+1 counters, or reanimating fallen Birds. On Turn 5, massive anthem effects such as Coat of Arms, Banner of Kinship, and Steel-Plume Marshal escalate this wide flying board into a lethal clock. The deck backs up its proactive game plan with a robust suite of Azorius interaction, featuring premium spot removal, cheap counterspells, and protective pieces like Sephara, Sky's Blade and Perch Protection. It reliably closes games around Turn 7 through multi-opponent aerial combat.
