Ka’ Zar by Ludo

Format: Commander

Commander: Ka-Zar of the Savage Land

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a mono-green landfall and +1/+1 counter midrange deck helmed by Ka-Zar of the Savage Land. Ka-Zar's top-of-library land access smooths the deck's mana curve, while the landfall trigger on his legendary Cat token provides a steadily growing secondary threat. The deck's primary engine is the "earthbend" package - The Boulder, Ready to Rumble, Toph, the Blind Bandit, Badgermole, Earthbender Ascension, and Earthbending Lesson - which turns lands into hasty, trampling attackers. The Earth King supplies repeatable land ramp on attack, and power-4 payoffs like Flopsie, Bumi's Buddy, Flora Colossus, and The Thing, Ben Grimm close games through sheer combat damage. There are no infinite combos; victory comes from overwhelming the table with a massive board of giant creatures and animated lands.
