Deck overview

This deck leverages Jace, Multiverse Architect as a guaranteed command-zone Polymorph engine. By omitting low-mana utility creatures, every creature in the 99 is a colossal, game-warping bomb ranging from Archon of Cruelty and Serra's Emissary to Archfiend of Despair. The early game focuses on setting up cheap token generators like Skrelv's Hive and Dreadhorde Invasion alongside efficient 2-mana artifact acceleration. On Turn 4, Jace arrives and immediately targets a token with his -3 loyalty ability to drop a heavyweight threat onto the battlefield without paying its casting cost. While the deck lacks stack interaction and fast infinite combos, its dense suite of board wipes that produce tokens—such as Sunfall, Martial Coup, and White Sun's Twilight—allows it to reset opposing boards while immediately fueling subsequent Polymorph plays to overwhelm the table in combat.
