The Power of Monke by riledantics

Format: Commander

Commander: Kibo, Uktabi Prince

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Gruul Ape and Monkey deck uses Kibo, Uktabi Prince to turn artifacts into team-wide growth. Kibo gives each player Banana tokens, forces a sacrifice when he attacks, and puts a +1/+1 counter on each Ape and Monkey you control whenever an opponent's artifact dies. Doublers such as Primal Vigor, Branching Evolution, Hardened Scales, Ozolith, the Shattered Spire and The Earth Crystal make those counters multiply quickly. Artifact removal like Gorilla Shaman, Kogla, the Titan Ape, Uktabi Orangutan and Liquimetal Coating both answers threats and triggers Kibo and Viridian Revel for cards and life. You win by attacking with very large trampling Apes, pushing damage with Garruk's Uprising, Kessig Wolf Run and Rogue's Passage.
