Gandalf Storm by slowloris

Format: Commander

Commander: Gandalf, Party Guest

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

The deck is a Jeskai spellslinger built around Gandalf, Party Guest, whose combat trigger free-casts the best instant or sorcery in hand. The primary plan is to deploy two or three cheap legendary Wizards, drop Gandalf on turn 4, and use free Time Warps, Full Throttle, or Mizzix's Mastery to generate multiple turns, combats, and storm copies. Secondary paths include a Thousand-Year Storm engine, an Underworld Breach + Frantic Search loop, and a beatdown/storm hybrid with Veyran, Harmonic Prodigy, and Niv-Mizzet. Prismari, the Inspiration and Gandalf of the Secret Fire act as hidden commanders. The deck wins by converting copied spells, extra turns, and mass spell recursion into lethal Grapeshot or combat damage.
