Deck overview

This 5-color Elemental kindred deck is piloted by Ashling, the Limitless, focusing on cheating high-cost Elemental threats into play via Ashling's granted evoke {4} ability. When nontoken Elementals are sacrificed to evoke, Ashling creates hasty token copies that double enter-the-battlefield abilities and apply immediate combat pressure. The deck leverages card-flow engines like Risen Reef, Mulldrifter, and Garruk's Uprising to maintain full hand sizes while flooding the battlefield with potent Elemental bombs such as Avenger of Zendikar, Omnath, Locus of Rage, and Maelstrom Wanderer. Standalone recursion powerhouses like Horde of Notions, Muldrotha, the Gravetide, and Haunting Voyage provide resilient late-game recovery after board wipes. While the deck possesses massive combat scalability and diverse removal via evokable creatures, its reliance on taplands slows early development, and the total lack of stack countermagic leaves it vulnerable to fast spell-based combos and board sweepers.
