Deck overview

Sauron, the Dark Lord leads a Grixis amass/ring deck. The primary plan is to park Sauron, use Ring-tempt draw-four to churn, and turn every noncreature spell into Army-growing fuel via Saruman, the White Hand. A single huge Orc Army plus Chandra's Ignition or unblockable attacks closes the game. Secondary paths use cheap reanimation (Animate Dead, Reanimate, Living Death) and big dragons to recover, while Gray Merchant drains off recursive devotion. Saruman, the White Hand functions as a hidden commander; Sauron, Lord of the Rings acts as a big finisher. The deck is a midrange value engine rather than a combo deck, and its speed depends on reaching Sauron and an Army payoff.
