Deck overview

Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER is a Naya equipment-voltron deck that uses its commander as both draw engine and finisher. The primary plan is to equip Cloud with Swords and the Reaver Cleaver, attack to draw cards and make Treasures, then use extra-combat effects, especially Aggravated Assault, to land 21 commander damage. Secondary paths lean on Tifa, Martial Artist and Lightning, Army of One to close with combat while Akiri/Sram/Puresteel keep the hand full. Cloud, Midgar Mercenary acts as a hidden commander in the 99, tutoring Equipment and doubling relevant triggered abilities. The deck wins by assembling a combat-combo rather than grinding, with tutors and cost reducers making the assembly fast.
