Deck overview

This is a Mardu token-swarm/aristocrats deck helmed by Zurgo Stormrender, built to weaponize the death of its own creatures. Zurgo's Mobilize tokens attack and then die at end step, each one drawing a card, while sacrificed tokens convert into life loss through Zulaport Cutthroat, Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim, and Mirkwood Bats. The 99 is a redundancy engine of attack-trigger token producers (Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon, Caesar, Legion's Emperor, Myrel, Shield of Argive) feeding token doublers/triplers (Mondrak, Glory Dominus, Ojer Taq, Deepest Foundation, Elspeth, Storm Slayer). It wins either by swinging wide into a pump finisher like Moonshaker Cavalry or Akroma's Will, or by assembling infinite sac loops through Ashnod's Altar/Phyrexian Altar/Warren Soultrader plus Pitiless Plunderer to drain every opponent. Zurgo is the card-advantage core, but none of the combo lines actually require him.
