Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Mono-Green Stompy deck commanded by Ghalta, Primal Hunger. The primary game plan revolves around rapidly curving out low-cost, oversized creatures—such as Gigantosaurus, Rhonas the Indomitable, and Tangleweave Armor—to quickly reach 10 or more total power on the battlefield. By Turn 4, this discount allows Ghalta to be cast for just {G}{G}. Once Ghalta enters, the deck converts the massive 12/12 body into overwhelming card advantage through draw spells like Rishkar's Expertise, Last March of the Ents, and The Great Henge. To close the game, the deck leverages lethal overrun effects including Overwhelming Stampede, Craterhoof Behemoth, and Triumph of the Hordes, eliminating the entire table in one or two decisive combat swings around Turn 5 to 6. While vulnerable to creature board wipes and exile removal, redundant high-power beaters and instant-speed protection ensure rapid recovery and relentless offensive pressure.
