Deck overview

This deck leverages Jhoira of the Ghitu to bypass exorbitant mana costs, cheating massive game-ending threats into play for just two mana. By suspending catastrophic permanents like Blightsteel Colossus, Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, Kozilek, Butcher of Truth, and Portal to Phyrexia, the deck sets up impending board collapses. Time-manipulation tools such as Fury Charm, Timecrafting, Jhoira's Timebug, and Paradox Haze accelerate time counters to resolve threats multiple turns ahead of their natural countdown. Because suspended creatures enter with haste, they strike immediately, triggering devastating Annihilator and infect attacks before opponents can stabilize. Backed by a deep counterspell suite including Deflecting Swat, Force of Negation, and Mana Drain, the deck protects Jhoira during her initial deployment and shields cheated payoffs when they cast from exile.
