Deck overview

This deck combines forced combat and political donation mechanics with a lethal poison proliferate engine under Jon Irenicus, Shattered One. The primary strategy deploys early evasive infect creatures or high-statuette beaters with severe drawbacks, then donates them to opponents with permanent goad and sacrifice immunity. As opponents are forced to attack each other, Jon generates steady card advantage. The deck then transitions into a multi-target proliferate clock using cards like Tezzeret's Gambit, Phyresis Outbreak, and Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus, ticking all opponents up to 10 poison counters simultaneously. Defensive enchantments such as Propaganda, Crawlspace, and No Mercy protect your life total from retaliatory swings, while utility lands like Homeward Path ensure you retain full control over the board in the final 1v1 endgame.
