Commander: Araumi of the Dead Tide

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Araumi of the Dead Tide commands a Dimir graveyard control deck that mills aggressively to fuel the encore ability. By exiling expendable cards from the graveyard, Araumi grants encore to key creatures, generating three temporary copies with haste to attack each opponent simultaneously. The deck controls the board and strips enemy hands through repeated sacrifice triggers from cards like Plaguecrafter and Vindictive Lich. It achieves victory by encoring devastating game-ending creatures, notably Gray Merchant of Asphodel to drain the entire table, Massacre Wurm to punish wide creature boards, or Abhorrent Overlord to overwhelm opponents in the air.
