Deck overview

This deck is a 5-color battlecruiser Dragon tribal list helmed by Tiamat. The game plan revolves around spending early turns developing mana fixing and ramp through Gates, mana dorks, and Dragonkind Orbs. Once seven mana across all five colors is available, casting Tiamat tutors five distinct dragon payoffs directly into hand, completely eliminating late-game threat variance. The deck then deploys engine centerpieces such as Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Old Gnawbone, and Thrakkus the Butcher to double dragon bodies and damage output. Combat damage and entering triggers from Dragon Tempest close out the game over two aggressive swings. While the deck possesses immense raw board power and explosive burst reanimation, its game plan is inherently mana-hungry, relies on sorcery-speed combat steps, and is exposed to well-timed board sweepers and early color screw.
