Deck overview

This Esper shadow-aggro deck, led by Lyna, Veil of Vengeance, uses the near-unblockable nature of shadow creatures to repeatedly trigger half-life effects and drain opponents. The commander provides a steady draw engine whenever a shadow creature connects, and her activated ability lets the deck grant shadow to its non-shadow threats - such as Virtus the Veiled, Quietus Spike, and Raving Dead - to accelerate the clock. A pillowfort package of Propaganda, Ghostly Prison, and No Mercy buys time, while a dense counterspell suite protects the plan. The primary win condition is combat damage amplified by half-life triggers; secondary paths include Frodo, Sauron's Bane (ring tempting), Summon: Primal Odin's "lose the game" ability, or Vraska, Scheming Gorgon's ultimate.
