Commander: Syr Gwyn, Hero of Ashvale

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Mardu Knights-and-Equipment deck built to turn Syr Gwyn, Hero of Ashvale into a recurring card-draw engine and a free-equip outlet. The game plan is to deploy cheap Knights and equipment tutors early, cast Syr Gwyn on curve, then use her "equip Knight {0}" ability to attach huge pieces like Colossus Hammer, Mjolnir, Hammer of Thor, or Aettir and Priwen for free and attack. The deck wins primarily through one-shot commander damage from Syr Gwyn, supported by double-strike effects from Kinsbaile Cavalier, Halvar, God of Battle // Sword of the Realms, and Akroma's Will. A secondary Knight-tribal beatdown plan with Shared Animosity, Door of Destinies, and Vanquisher's Banner can also close out games. There are no infinite combos; the deck grinds toward three sequential lethal attacks while protecting its board with free spells and indestructible effects.
