Deck overview

This deck is a Naya forced-combat control strategy commanded by Marisi, Breaker of the Coil. Its game plan focuses on deploying early mana acceleration and asymmetric disruption pieces like High Noon, Torpor Orb, and Blood Moon to restrict opponents' development. On Turn 4, the deck casts Marisi and attacks to trigger its goad ability, forcing all opposing creatures to attack each other while silencing opponents from casting spells during combat phases. Pillowfort enchantments such as Ghostly Prison and Windborn Muse ensure opposing attacks cannot be directed back at you, while damage multipliers like Death Kiss accelerate the table's mutual destruction. The deck features hyper-efficient removal in Swords to Plowshares and Farewell to answer critical threats. Without non-land tutors or dedicated stack protection, the deck relies on functional redundancy and commander recastability to sustain the goad lock until a single low-life opponent remains for a lethal closing attack on Turn 8.
