Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Midrange Reanimator deck helmed by Sauron, the Dark Lord. It blends an explosive reanimation package with mid-game value generated by Sauron and nine copies of Nazgûl. The primary win condition uses Entomb or discard outlets to place Worldgorger Dragon into the graveyard, then returns it with Animate Dead or Necromancy to create infinite mana and infinite enter-the-battlefield loops. These loops trigger win conditions like Orcish Bowmasters, Terror of the Peaks, or repeated activations of Sauron, the Lidless Eye. Backing this combo is a suite of free counterspells including Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, and Pact of Negation, alongside asymmetric disruption like Vexing Bauble and Archfiend of Ifnir. When the primary combo is contested, the deck pivots smoothly into token beatdown and card filtering through repeated Ring-tempt triggers.
