Deck overview

This Izzet deck is commanded by Neera, Wild Mage and operates on a high-variance, big-mana polymorph strategy. The deck utilizes low-cost cantrips, zero-mana creatures, and 2-to-3 CMC mana rocks to ramp into Neera by Turn 5 or 6. Once Neera is active, cheap spells such as Brainstorm, Gitaxian Probe, and Memnite are tucked to the bottom of the library to cheat high-impact haymakers into play, including Desolation Twin, Artisan of Kozilek, Breaker of Creation, and Aminatou's Augury. Top-deck manipulation spells ensure high hit quality, while alternative cheat outlets like Proteus Staff and Mass Polymorph provide backup engines. The deck aims to close games through combat damage across multiple turns using massive Eldrazi and token swarms generated by Ovika, Enigma Goliath and Myr Battlesphere.
