Glorious Phyrexia by bane1138

Format: Commander

Commander: Valko Indorian

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a five-color Phyrexian tribal strategy helmed by Valko Indorian, whose Rulebreaker ability allows the inclusion of Phyrexian cards of any color identity and any basic lands. The primary game plan is to deploy infect and toxic creatures, accumulate poison counters through combat and proliferate effects, and eventually eliminate all opponents via poison. The deck leans heavily on Phyrexian synergies, including lords like Valko Indorian (menace and lifelink), Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider (counter doubling), and Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite (board control). It also packs a reanimation package (Animate Dead, Reanimate, Portal to Phyrexia) and card advantage engines like Ad Nauseam and The One Ring. The deck is a midrange value pile that wins incrementally rather than through a fast combo, making it resilient but slow.
