Jon Hates You by jessedeeks

Format: Commander

Commander: Jon Irenicus, Shattered One

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Jon Irenicus turns a pile of drawback creatures into goaded, unblockable-ish gifts that your opponents are forced to attack each other with. The primary plan is to deploy one high-power creature per turn, donate it at the end step, and draw cards off the attacks while the recipients grind each other down. A secondary poison line uses Phyresis, Glistening Oil, and Phyrexian Vatmother to turn any big gift into a two-hit infect clock. Jon is both the donation engine and the draw engine; the deck can also steal back gifts with Reins of Power for a surprise lethal swing. No hidden commander exists.
