deck of surveil by ClassyDabber

Format: Commander

Commander: Golbez, Crystal Collector

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Dimir artifact-reanimator deck helmed by Golbez, Crystal Collector aims to flood the board with cheap and large artifacts, leveraging Golbez's surveil triggers and end-step recursion to generate a steady stream of value. The primary path to victory is overwhelming combat: deploy a dense board of artifact creatures, eventually drop Krang, Utrom Warlord to give them all flying, trample, indestructible, and haste, then swing for lethal. A secondary drain plan uses Golbez's eight-artifact threshold to return a huge creature from the graveyard and drain each opponent for its power. The deck also packs a minor control suite with counterspells, Mindslaver, and God-Pharaoh's Statue to slow opponents while assembling its own board.
