Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue Wizard tribal combo-control strategy commanded by Azami, Lady of Scrolls. The early game focuses on deploying low-cost Wizards and mana rocks to establish board presence while controlling the table with efficient countermagic and asymmetric tax effects like Patron Wizard, Harbinger of the Seas, and Winter Moon. Once Azami enters on Turn 4, her ability immediately turns every Wizard into repeatable, tap-free card advantage. This massive draw engine rapidly assembles primary combo lines: Mind Over Matter with Azami, or Isochron Scepter imprinting Dramatic Reversal. Either engine allows the pilot to draw the entire library in a single turn and achieve victory through Thassa's Oracle or Laboratory Maniac. With robust free and cheap counterspells shielding every win attempt, the deck effectively disrupts opposing game plans while executing a lethal, compact finish.
