Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul Stompy deck commanded by Raph & Mikey, Troublemakers. The primary strategy focuses on developing an expansive mana base in the first four turns using green land-search spells, mana dorks, and signets. On Turn 5, the deck casts its 7-mana commander, which attacks immediately thanks to natural haste. Each attack triggers a free creature cheat directly from the top of the library into combat, rapidly overwhelming opponents with behemoths like Ghalta, Primal Hunger, Krang, Utrom Warlord, and Fiendish Duo. If the commander is disrupted or held off the board, standalone engines such as Ojer Kaslem, Deepest Growth // Temple of Cultivation and Earth's Mightiest Heroes maintain forward momentum. Efficient protection spells like Heroic Intervention and Saved by the Shell shield the board during key combat swings, while direct damage and bite spells clear key blockers to secure a lethal table finish by Turn 7.
