Aphelia - FR by lovebug22

Format: Commander

Commander: Aphelia, Viper Whisperer

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Aphelia, Viper Whisperer leads an aggressive Golgari Snake tribal deck that creates deathtouch tokens and turns combat damage into life-total math. The primary plan is to get Aphelia attacking early, build a wide Snake board, and use her {4}{B} ability to halve life totals after each successful hit. Bloodletter of Aclazotz turns that ability into a one-shot kill. Secondary paths are anthem-and-overrun finishes (Banner of Kinship, Overrun, Preposterous Proportions) and a recursion package that reuses key Snakes. There is no second commander face; the deck is built entirely around Aphelia's attack trigger and Gorgon/Snake drain.
