Deck overview

Vivi Ornitier commands an explosive Izzet spellslinger storm deck that converts cheap noncreature spells into immediate damage, mana velocity, and massive card draw. The primary engine pairs Vivi with Curiosity effects or Underworld Breach lines. Because Vivi triggers on every noncreature spell to deal 1 damage to each opponent and gain a +1/+1 counter, a single Curiosity aura draws three cards per cast. Vivi's zero-mana tap ability then converts accumulated power directly into blue and red mana, fueling an unbroken storm chain that digs through the library. Dense zero-mana interaction like Fierce Guardianship, Deflecting Swat, and Force of Will protects this lethal turn from opposing disruption. If Vivi is removed, backup lines like Underworld Breach with Brain Freeze or infinite mana via Quicksilver Elemental ensure the deck can quickly pivot and eliminate the entire table in a single decisive turn.
