Deck overview

This is an Azorius blink-combo deck built around Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward and the Candlekeep Sage Background. Abdel is the engine: each enters trigger exiles your nonland permanents and makes Soldiers, while Candlekeep turns every Abdel blink into card draw. The primary plan is to assemble Abdel with a blink enabler-Felidar Guardian plus Restoration Angel, or Eldrazi Displacer/Deadeye Navigator with Peregrine Drake-to create infinite Abdel triggers. That loop creates infinite Soldiers, draws most of the deck, and wins through Thassa's Oracle or Altar of the Brood. A value backup plan uses Soulherder, Teleportation Circle, Thassa, and Conjurer's Closet to grind out advantage if the combo is disrupted. There is no hidden commander; Candlekeep Sage is the mandatory Background partner.
